Delete your account

This page explains how to permanently delete your Rumbly Eats account and all the personal data associated with it. The app is published by Anton (sole developer); contact is support@rumblyeats.org.

Option 1 — Delete from inside the app

1. Open Rumbly Eats on your iPhone or Android device.
2. Tap Profile in the bottom navigation.
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
4. Confirm. There is no undo step — once confirmed, deletion is queued immediately.

This is the fastest path. The request goes through the same authenticated session you use day-to-day, so we know it's really you.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

If you no longer have the app installed or can't sign in:

1. Email support@rumblyeats.org from the email address registered to your Rumbly Eats account.
2. Use the subject line Delete my account.
3. We verify the request matches an existing account and process it within 7 business days.

What gets deleted

All of the following is permanently erased from our database within 24 hours of confirmation:

• Profile (name, email, goals, weight history, age, sex).
• Every meal you logged (name, calories, macros, notes, timestamps).
• All photos you uploaded for AI food analysis.
• Voice transcripts sent to AI logging.
• Daily nutrition totals, recap data, streaks, badges.
• Health data you connected (HealthKit / Google Fit syncs).
• Push notification tokens and reminder schedules.
• Authentication tokens and active sessions.

What is retained (and why)

• Server access logs (IP addresses, timestamps of requests) — kept for up to 30 days for security and fraud-prevention purposes, then automatically purged.
• Aggregate, anonymized counts (e.g. total meals logged across all users) that cannot be linked back to you.
• Financial records required by law — only if you ever made a paid purchase. These are retained by the payment provider (Apple, Google, or Stripe), not us, per their compliance obligations.

Timing

• From inside the app: deletion completes within 24 hours.
• By email: we acknowledge within 48 hours and complete deletion within 7 business days.
